Sherman, Thanks for the comments! I was surprised that you’re on my email list! How did you stumble across my little section of the web? I’ve actually visited your site many times. I love it! This is very strange… I’ve contemplated contacting you over the past few weeks! I ran over to the First German Reformed Church and the Old Saint George Church after I saw them on your site. Couldn’t get in (legally) and I had my wife with me so sneaking in wasn’t an option! I really would like to talk to you at some point. Love to even go shooting with you sometime if you’re interested in someone tagging along. Love your stuff! Thanks again for the comments!

Thanks for the interior photos — I was curious as to its condition. It’s been years since I’ve stepped onto the property (with an interesting story at that), and it was really great to hear about its potential restoration. I snapped a few en route home six years ago at http://www.abandonedonline.net/index.php?catid=109, but I rarely make it down that way to actually stop back for interiors. Your photos are wonderful!

Next time go dressed up as a priest and inform the concern church going member that you have been sent by the vatican to take pictures so that a fair price offer could be made for the property. since the property is under foreclosure and the location would be a great place to start an homeless shelter for people from the biggest city that is closests to them. Then just watch her stuned look on her face. Keep smiling :)

Hey Chris,
She may live there. there is a small church in Harrison that a young girl bought and it is really cool inside. Mom has attended the bingo parties there…Betsy might have gone there with her too.
Just so you know…she might be protective of her church too!
