I am typically the uncle/friend that shoots candid photos throughout weddings and receptions, but this time I was the father of the bride! I told myself early on to not get out of control shooting throughout the weekend of my daughter’s wedding and think I did a pretty good job being the dad and not the photographer.

This gallery of shots are from the riverboat cruise rehearsal dinner and a few from a small party afterwards.

None of my kids have really shared my interest in photography. But my grandson Braylen seems to have the “bug” for shooting. Maybe someday we’ll go out on one of my all day Saturday shoots. I’m so proud of him!

After just getting back from Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Morehead, Kentucky, I figured it was time to post the photos from last year’s festival.
