Back in November of last year, my boss (seen in one of the shots) took a couple of us out after work one evening and I took the camera thinking “Maybe I’ll shoot some stuff, maybe not”. I was rather surprised with some of the images from that night, mainly the panoramics due to the boat moving and me having a few drinks altering my ability to keep a clean horizon line with the camera. A couple of the sunsets have become some of my favorites.
Take a look at the whole series here. Enjoy!

Ok, time to bring out some of the old stuff. I set up my Zenfolio site before I started this blog and I have some galleries I’d like to share from the past. This gallery is from a trip to Mexico Betsy and I took. This is specifically panoramics from the trip. Some really cool churches as well as some countryside type shots.
Here’s the entire gallery. Enjoy!

I should have edited and posted these long ago. I took my son Michael and nephew Parker on a skatepark trip through Columbus, Wheeling and Pittsburg from August 6th through the 8th. These are 2 of the close to fifty “multiple exposure” shots I captured over the 3-day trip. I’m posting this right now because I feel guilty I’ve not processed all the photos for Michael yet.
Stay tuned….

Tuesday, September 3, 2009.
Final score, NCC 0, Highlands 3
Despite the loss to Highlands, there are some good shots in this gallery. The light was about perfect in the first half of the game resulting in little editing. The second half proved to be a bit more challenging for me, and the Breds.
On a side note, I’ve added the ability to purchase photos in all the soccer galleries.

OK, so everyone wanted to know who was going to shoot Erinn’s wedding since I was going to be a bit busy that day. What most of them don’t understand is that you couldn’t pay me enough to shoot a wedding. I prefer shooting things that I can re-shoot if I mess up the exposure!
Ron Baker from Nashville, TN was the photographer for the ceremony and reception.

Let the party begin! Here’s my shots from the reception. Looking at the photos and talking to the guests, I’d say evryone had a great time. After all the “official” stuff the place started rocking and didn’t stop till we made the DJs close down the music. Everyone danced like crazy. Maybe making 2 additional beer runs because we ran out twice had something to do with it. Not sure.
See them all in this gallery. Enjoy!
